We are Tom and Angela Wiske. We have been married for over 7 years and have lived at our current address in the village of Saukville for 7 years now. We do not have any kids, but our dog's Bud (14), Lola (11) and Rocky (4) are our kids. Both Angela and I grew up with pets our whole lives and I have been dog/cat sitting for friends, neighbors and family for most of my life. I have attended a Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR seminar and have become certified in both. I am also human CPR trained from my 11+ years of law enforcement experience.
How we came to be the Ozaukee County House & Pet Sitters, LLC is that we always wanted to find someone to watch our dogs when we went on a vacation and could never find anything acceptable, and never liked kenneling as an option. After exhausting favors from family members and friends, we were stuck without an exceptable way to have our pets cared for when we were gone. Then the opportunity came in early 2006. I resigned from the Police Dept. due to health problems. Angela and I sat down and figured that there has to be other pet owners in the area that feel the same way we do about our pets, and we decided to become what we were looking for in pet sitters. We both do this full time now and love our work like never before. We now have (3) part time dog walkers on our staff to help with the every day demands as our business continues to grow. As of the new year, we have over 200 clients that have used our services, the majority of which have used us multiple times for multiple services.
